The Flow Interconnect connector:

Needless to say, an overly important part of the audio cable is the connector. A most often overlooked part despite its crucial role, no off-the-shelf solution could reasonnably match the striking achievement which the Flow represents. Therefore Argento Audio spared no effort or ressource to develop over more than three years its proprietary connector, a worthy crown befitting the Argento Audio audio masterpiece: the Flow.

A 99.999% pure silver contacts. Special fiber reinforced composite dielectric.

New generation of VDM© dielectric (Vibration Damping Material) by Argento Audio. VDM© brings critically reduced microphonics compared to cables with Teflon, PE, PTFE, air etc. dielectric and a complete removal of the ìtraditionalî hyper hifi sound that such dielectrics creates in cables for audio use.

After Argento completed the FLOW they planned to make it their reference cable because the sound quality was so much better than anything they had heard before.

* Absolutely no off-the-shelf solutions. Everything is custom made for the FlowTM cables.

* Extreme attention to resonance control.

* Special Elliptic Two-way tubing allowing very good flexibility and lower weight compared to a circular tube of the same material and internal geometry. The material chosen for the tubing is extremely non-resonate and VERY heat tolerant.

* Unshielded design for the hot and the neutral conductors as all other Argento cables.

* Shielded grounding to provide better performance with products outputting significant noise to ground (switch mode power supplies and digital products).

* All components are cryo-treated through an elaborate custom 48 hour three-stage cycle.

* Modified gold/palladium plated connectors with very high surface quality to ensure perfect interface with the wall sockets and IEC connectors.

* Extremely large total cross-section conferring an added sense of speed, tightness and coherence.
